Bring-your-own-AI training · iOS & Android

What your AI
needs to coach you.

Log every set, every RIR, every recovery signal. Your AI reads the record and acts — program design, progression, what’s next. Every decision comes back with its reasoning.

Your AI, not ours No built-in chat. Your AI lives where you choose it to.
RIR · Sleep · Mood The signal your AI needs to coach well, captured between sets.
Every change shown What changed, and why. Receipts for every session.

How it works

Three things, doing one job, making your AI a better coach.

Bring your own AI.

Claude and ChatGPT sign in directly, add Evertrain as a connector and approve it. Anything else that speaks MCP connects with a personal access token. The AI you choose writes your program. The app doesn't compete with it.

Capture-grade signal.

Reps, weight, RIR per set, timed work, sleep, mood, cardio. The data your AI needs to coach you well, captured in the seconds between sets, not retroactively.

The trust layer.

Every change your AI makes lands in your activity feed with its reasoning. And when it learns something about you, an injury, a preference, it proposes, you approve. Nothing sticks without your say-so.

What your AI can do

Twenty-plus tools. One connected coach.

Once connected, your assistant works with your real training data, not a summary you paste into a chat window. It reads what happened and acts on what's next.

  • What does my squat progression look like over the last 3 months?
  • I’ve been on the same PPL for 8 months. I think I’m ready for something more advanced.
  • I’m travelling next week — hotel gym only, dumbbells and cables. Sort my week out.
  • I’ve got a holiday in 10 weeks. What’s the most I can realistically add before then?
  • Am I actually getting stronger or just convincing myself I am?
  • I want to do my first powerlifting meet in 6 months. Build me a comp prep block.
  • My deadlift has completely stalled. Look at my history and tell me what’s going wrong.
  • I want to look genuinely good by August. Like actually good. What’s the plan?
  • Look at my last month of training and tell me if I’m actually recovering between sessions.
  • Build me something based on the Juggernaut method. 4 days a week, intermediate lifter.
  • Switch me to a strength focus for the next 8 weeks. I want to hit some new maxes.
  • I want to bring up my glutes without losing upper body size. Look at my current program and fix it.
  • What’s my weakest body part based on everything I’ve logged?
  • Swap out all the barbell work this week. My wrists are completely shot.
  • I’m getting married in 4 months. I need to look the absolute best I’ve ever looked. Where do we start?
  • My bodyweight’s been creeping up for weeks but my lifts haven’t moved. What’s going on?
  • I always skip abs. Bake them into my program so I actually do them.
  • How consistent have I actually been this year? I have a feeling I’m missing more sessions than I think.
  • My gym is closed for 10 days. I’ve got a barbell, plates, and a pull-up bar at home. Build me something.

It reads

  • Your training history every set, weight, RIR and note you've logged
  • Your scheduled calendar what's planned, what's done, what slipped
  • Your daily logs sleep, mood, cardio and the notes you leave on a day
  • Your coaching notes restrictions, preferences and current phase
  • The exercise library hundreds of movements with video, filterable by equipment, muscle and training type

It acts

  • Builds full programs blocks, splits, supersets, timed work, progressions
  • Schedules and reschedules moves sessions around your week, never overwriting logged work
  • Adjusts future workouts, sets, rest and makes decisions based on what you actually did
  • Proposes coaching notes injuries, preferences, phase changes; you confirm or reject
  • Posts its changes every AI change lands in the app with what changed and why, all in your feed

Every program an AI writes passes the same validator a human coach would apply, volume landmarks, push/pull balance, progression logic. Bad programs bounce.

The trust layer

The AI explains itself. You get the last word.

When your AI changes something, it doesn't happen silently. The change lands in your activity feed, what it did, why it did it, line by line.

And when it learns something about you, a shoulder that shouldn't go overhead, a preference for dumbbells, it can't just write that into your record. It proposes. You confirm or reject. Your coaching notes stay yours.

Manifesto

Why we built an app that doesn't chat.

Every fitness app since 2023 has tried to bolt an AI on. They all built the same thing: a chat box, a coach personality, a paywall. The AI was trapped inside the app.

We took the opposite move. The AI is the coach. The app is its notepad, the plan gets written in it, every set gets logged in it. Your coach lives where you want it, Claude on your laptop, ChatGPT on your phone, any MCP-speaking assistant you choose. The mobile app does what mobile apps are uniquely good at: capture every rep, every set, every signal of how you're feeling, fast.

The AI is your coach. The app is its notepad.

Bringing your own AI is a choice, not a chore. It means you pick your coach, and you can switch them. Your AI is portable. Your program belongs to you. Your data belongs to you. The app is the instrument that connects them.

And when your AI changes something, a rest day added, a Wednesday squat cut, a lighter week after your sleep logs cratered, it shows up in your activity feed with its reasoning. You see the work. You agree, or you don't. A coach that shows its work.
